Best Places To Vist In Amsterdam: Exciting Things To See & Do.
This post will be sharing some of the best places to visit in Amsterdam while you’re there.
I went to Amsterdam in May, and while it wasn’t exactly my favourite city, it was remarkable.
I finally went to see what the hype about the canals and bikes was, and let me tell you, it was as accurate as they come.
The city is littered with so many bikes, particularly around the canals, that it takes away the beauty.
It feels more claustrophobic, congested, and less aesthetic, but that is the charm.
If you want a proper canal aesthetic, go to Venice instead.
Regardless of my opinions, I know Amsterdam is still on several people’s bucket lists as a must-visit destination.
Don’t get discouraged by my thoughts if that happens to be you.
Go to the city for yourself and form your own opinions.
It is also essential to remember that Amsterdam is a typical tourist city, so many things are overpriced, and there’s a price tag for almost everything.
So, decide which attractions to pay for and book early enough online to save some coins.
This will help you manage your budget for meals and other expenses.
So, let’s get right into it!
Here Are The Best Places To Visit In Amsterdam For The First Time Traveller
Amsterdam does a pretty fine job repackaging its history and culture for tourism.
This means that the city has a bit of everything here and there.
As always, you must decide what interests you and prioritize your attractions.
You must also factor in how much time you have in the city to spread across those attractions, so choose wisely.
While it is nice to ensure your trip is memorable, don’t try to squeeze in too much, especially if you want to explore as much as possible.
Do as much as you can and leave the rest.
Amsterdam isn’t going anywhere.
